Healthcare in Kentucky’s I-71 Corridor
Kentucky’s I-71 Corridor has a variety of primary care physicians, specialists and hospitals. This is the area where Louisville and Cincinnati meet so residents have access to all of the healthcare providers found within these growing cities. Locally, two of major hospitals are found in Carroll and Oldham Counties.
Carroll County Memorial Hospital
Carroll County Memorial Hospital is a vibrant, growing area health care center employing over 200 people, serving 14,000 people annually through outpatient services, 3,000 through inpatient services, 12,000 through our emergency department and 27,000 through our physician services.
Baptist Health Hospital La Grange
Baptist Health La Grange, a 120-bed hospital, provides a broad spectrum of healthcare services to residents of Oldham, Henry, Trimble, Carroll and eastern Jefferson counties. Opened as Tri-County Community Hospital in 1987, the hospital joined the Baptist Health family in 1992, enlarging the facilities and expanding services to meet the needs of the growing community.
Across the Oldham County line is a third hospital - Norton Brownsboro.
The region also offers urgent care facilities, such as Norton Urgent Care and Baptist Health Urgent Care in LaGrange.
TRIAD health systems is another local medical group serving the greater region.
