Top School System

Oldham County Public Schools offer quality education, strong athletics programs and creative arts and technology curriculum.  Oldham County has one of the highest concentrations of top ranked schools in the state, with an average ranking of 10/10. Oldham County schools had the best K-PREP Test Scores in the state, 84.8% of teachers have a master’s degree or higher, the district is in the state’s Distinguished category, and it is the only district in the state to receive the Advanced Placement Honor Roll three times.

Oldham County also offers a quiet residential lifestyle with new attractive neighborhoods and beautiful farms within minutes of upscale shopping and dining in Louisville. The parks and recreation department offers a robust athletic program and has over 700 families enrolled in local soccer clubs.
