Entertainment in Kentucky’s I-71 Corridor

The variety of entertainment is endless. Celebrate the beauty of fall in Carroll County with the Tobacco Festival. The gathering, celebrating local farmers and their important role, has been celebrated for over 68 years. Events at the festival include a flea market, craft and food vendors, agritourism tent, outhouse race, parade, and live bands.

There’s no shortage of live music events in Carroll County! With a variety of free events year round, it’s easy to fill up your calendar with rich, local artists and good food. Slow cooked BBA and other local food vendors will keep your belly full while you dance the night away.

The local Bands and BBQ event is just that...and so much more! As a favorite annual event, musicians and BBQ enthusiasts sign up for friendly competition to win prizes. The community is invited to sample the many BBQ recipes and listen to all genres of live music.

Nestled in the middle of it all, Gallatin County is notoriously famous as the home of the Kentucky Speedway - a venue that is being repurposed as a multi-use facility that is likely to hold events and festivals.

Bring a group of your best friends for a scrumptious afternoon on the Chocolate Crawl, a journey around Warsaw, tasting the sweetest chocolate made by local businesses.

Springtime in Gallatin County is most memorable with the Peony Festival. Family activities, Queen City Boat rides, the Heritage Tractor show, 5k run/walk, live music and more celebrate a new season filled with growth.

Located in the heart of bourbon country, Heaven’s Door Distillery offers breathtaking views and historically restored and new buildings on their 160 acres once owned by Squire Boone.  The distillery is opening soon at their site located near Pleasureville on picturesque Six-Mile Creek.

Oldham County possesses unique entertainment options for the area. For example, most Monday evenings, live music can be heard coming from LaGrange Coffee Roasters on Main Street or during Trackside Tunes, one of many annual La Grange Main Street Program events throughout the year. Most first-time visitors to historic downtown La Grange are astounded as they watch a freight train roll down the center of Main Street! Yes, a train runs through it! Up to 20 freight trains a day come through historic La Grange making for a one-of-a-kind shopping & dining experience found only in Oldham.

From April through October, you can enjoy venturing out on one of their Oldham Farm Tours! Oldham County is the Farm Tour Capital of Kentucky with 13 hands-on farm tours letting you get up-close-and-personal to a variety of animals, including alpaca, dairy cows, bison, and yes, horses of all breeds!.
