Infrastructure

With a strong infrastructure and easy access to Cincinnati and Louisville, I-71 which makes up Kentucky’s Golden Triangle, boasts a daily traffic count ranging from 38,740 to 66,828. The 60 miles of interstate that runs between Oldham and Gallatin county accommodates the growing region. The CSX rail runs alongside the Ohio River and operates approximately 60 trains a day through the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area. Kentucky’s I-71 Corridor is the New Steel Capital of the United States. Carroll County is home to North American Stainless, which is the largest steel producer in the US and 2nd largest in the world. Steel Technologies is located in Gallatin County and has a 2,000 member team. Nucor Corporation, is located in Gallatin County is North America’s most diversified steel and steel products company. They are undergoing a $650 million dollar expansion which will bring many new jobs to the area.

Northern Kentucky is home for many manufacturers in the automotive industry. More than 40 automotive companies are already located in the region. This has attracted businesses like Dorman to our region. From their Warsaw location they are innovating new automotive repair solutions that put owners and installers first.

The I-71 Corridor is home to 4 Industrial Parks: Developable land is available for light and heavy Industrial uses, along with office uses. The Industrial Parks are close proximity to I-71 as well as the Ohio River.
