Owen County, Kentucky is truly the Heartbeat of Kentucky’s Golden Triangle. Located entirely within the boundaries of I-75, I-71 and I-64, the county is less than a one hour drive from Lexington, Louisville and Cincinnati, Ohio, and just minutes from the Kentucky Speedway. A large Canadian plastic manufacturer has just moved in, creating additional opportunities to strengthen the county’s existing manufacturing cluster. 

Owen County has a wealth of natural beauty with numerous lakes, streams and rolling ridges providing top quality fishing and hunting opportunities in the Commonwealth. The county is also home to the state’s largest winery and the Kentucky River.
